Art & Healing Unite: Healing Arts Atlanta Meets High Museum of Art!

Art & Healing Unite: Healing Arts Atlanta Meets High Museum of Art!

The High Museum in Atlanta is excited to host a special event inviting artists, health professionals, educators, community organizers, and others engaged at the intersection of arts and health. This afternoon of restoration will provide attendees with exclusive access to the museum’s galleries, including the impactful exhibition Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys. Participants will also engage in a series of mindfulness exercises aimed at grounding them in their bodies and communities while exploring diverse forms of Black expression and ingenuity.

This private event is part of Healing Arts Atlanta, which features a variety of workshops, exhibitions, and performances by distinguished artists and healthcare professionals that spotlight the transformative potential of the arts in healthcare contexts. To learn more about upcoming Healing Arts Atlanta events, visit healingartsatlanta.org.

For additional information, interested individuals can email culturecollective@high.org or call 404-733-5034.

Furthermore, for those seeking additional mindfulness-based activities, the High Museum invites visitors to join us on the third Saturday of each month for Oasis, an opportunity to embrace the present moment through deep reflection, art-making, and movement within the museum space.
