This is an information-gathering class about the feasibility of beekeeping in the area. Participants will learn about the basics of beekeeping and the beekeeper’s year, where to find materials, and when and how to get started. Weather permitting, attendees will visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s hive for a demonstration. It is advised to register early as space is limited.
