Join Joshua Robinson, a writer and educator based in Atlanta, for an enlightening walking tour at the High Museum in Atlanta, where participants will delve into hip-hop’s dynamic relationship with modern and contemporary art. Centered in the vibrant neighborhood of Little Five Points, this tour showcases the artistic hub’s diverse street art, creative boutiques, and exceptional music and fashion scene. Guided exploration will allow attendees to discover the significant intersections between music and art, highlighting their relevance to the exhibits currently on view at the museum.
The tour will kick off at the corner of McLendon Avenue and Moreland Avenue and will involve a one-mile walking route. Assistive listening devices will be available, and lightweight collapsible stools can be requested in advance to ensure comfort for all participants.
