About Kelli Connell
Kelli Connell, an artist born in 1974 in Oklahoma City and now based in Chicago, focuses her photography on themes of sexuality, gender, identity, and the dynamics between photographer and subject. Her work is part of esteemed collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Connell holds a BFA from the University of North Texas and an MFA from Texas Woman’s University.
About Gregory Harris
Leading the conversation will be Gregory Harris, the Donald and Marilyn Keough Family Curator of Photography at the High Museum. An expert in contemporary photography, Harris has curated numerous exhibitions and contributed essays to monographs by various artists. He has been with the High since 2016 and has a solid academic background with a BFA from Columbia College Chicago and an MA in art history from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
