A terrarium is a miniature, self-sustaining ecosystem and a beautiful, practical way to bring plant life into the home or office. Participants will build a terrarium using a variety of tiny, adorable plants, mosses, and decorative stones.
Terry Furuta, of Terry Furuta Designs, is a seasoned floral design professional with 45 years of experience. She is a professor of the Ikenobo School of Ikebana, whose principles inspire her designs. Her arrangements have received numerous awards at the Southeastern Flower Show and Atlanta Orchid Society Show. For the past 10+ years, she has volunteered at the Fuqua Orchid Conservatory, creating orchid displays as well as working in other areas of the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
