Pound for pound, Brad Williams is currently recognized as one of the funniest comedians in the country and has become one of the most in-demand performers in the comedy scene. Starting his stand-up career as a teenager, Williams has maintained a successful touring schedule, routinely selling out prestigious venues nationwide and internationally.
His engagement in live performances has transitioned into numerous stand-up television appearances, including gigs on The Tonight Show, Dave Attell’s Comedy Underground, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Williams’ first one-hour special, Fun Size, achieved the status of the highest-rated special on Showtime, followed by his second special, Daddy Issues, which exceeded its predecessor in success. His third special in three years showcased a collection of the edgiest comedians from the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. His latest groundbreaking Netflix special, The Degenerates, also received substantial ratings and critical acclaim.
Beyond comedy, Williams is a skilled actor, having appeared in various TV shows and films, including FX’s Legit, Sam and Cat, Mind of Mencia, and a recurring role in the Hulu original show Deadbeat. His film credits extend to works such as Little Evil, produced by Scott Stuber (Ted), as well as the Netflix original film, Mascots, and recently in Reno 911: It’s A Wonderful Heist.
In a historic achievement, Brad became the first stand-up comedian to headline a Cirque du Soleil show in the organization’s 30-year history, launching a three-month run of their newest production, Mad Apple, at the 1200-seat New York New York Theater in Las Vegas. This show received immediate acclaim, with reviewers particularly praising Williams for his captivating performances.
Additionally, Williams co-created and co-hosted the successful podcast About Last Night with fellow comic Adam Ray, which consistently ranked on the iTunes charts throughout its five-year run. He is also a prominent contributor to numerous national radio and podcast platforms, including KROQ’s Kevin and Bean Show and The Adam Carolla Show.
Williams’ insightful and humorous commentary on disability, relationships, sex, and race resonates deeply with his audiences, demonstrating that anyone can overcome their challenges. His dynamic live shows frequently lead to standing ovations, earning him the affectionate title from late comedian Robin Williams as “Prozac with a head.”
