Only 3 Days Left to See Jered Sprecher’s Amazing Paintings and Drawings

People Looking at The Paintings in Hallway

What do flowers, skulls, masks, and grids have in common? They are all part of the visual vocabulary of Jered Sprecher, a Knoxville-based artist whose work explores the paradoxes of contemporary life. In his latest exhibition at Whitespace Gallery, Sprecher presents a series of paintings and drawings that juxtapose elements of beauty and horror, order and chaos, and the natural and the artificial. Through his use of vibrant colors, geometric shapes, and organic forms, Sprecher invites the viewer to question their perception of reality and their relationship to the world around them. Wonder & Dread is a timely and compelling exhibition that reflects on the complexities and contradictions of our times.

Wonder & Dread is on view at Whitespace Gallery from April 22 to June 17, 2023. The gallery is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm or by appointment. For more information click here.
