Morning Hike

Participants can enjoy a guided hike through the scenic Fernbank Forest at the Fernbank Museum. This Morning Hike will celebrate the diverse ecosystem of the old-growth forest, with topics varying each time to include birding, tree identification, wildflowers, and more.
Cost: $10 for members / $20 for nonmembers
Important information for visitors:
- Hikes occur rain or shine, except in cases of hazardous weather. Visitors are encouraged to check the weather and dress accordingly.
- The hike lasts two hours, weather permitting.
- The terrain in the forest can be uneven and steep at times. Please note that trails are not ADA accessible.
- This hike is not suitable for strollers.
- In the event of inclement weather or insufficient registrations, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. They will contact registered participants by phone and email by noon the day before the hike to notify them of any cancellations and issue refunds.
