- The Cheese Fest Atlanta at Historic Fourth Ward Park September 23, 2017 (1 to 8 p.m.) Taste samples from cheese and artisan food producers, taste grilled cheese entries, visit the cash bar, and hear live music. Kids 12 and younger free.
- East Atlanta Strut September 23, 2017 includes five stages of live music and comedy, a wacky parade at 2 p.m., an artists’ market, kids’ village, and food vendors at Glenwood Ave. SE & Flat Shoals Ave. SE. Free.
Fall Folklife Festival September 23 – 24, 2017 has local artists demonstrating blacksmithing, beekeeping, woodworking, and cooking; local musicians playing folk and bluegrass music; and food with a cash bar at Atlanta History Center.
Atlanta Zine Fest September 23 – 24, 2017 has vendors, guest speakers, and workshops at Murmur. Free. A zine is a cheap, self-published, underground publication.

has free entertainment and activities for all ages. It happens on Peachtree Street & Broad Street (from 17th Street in the north to Mitchell Street in the south).
