Musing Together is a monthly art conversation program at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, designed for individuals with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, along with their care partners. Each month, staff members facilitate engaging discussions centered on four to six artworks from the museum’s collection or special exhibitions.
This month’s focus will be on works from The Lost World: The Art of Minnie Evans.
During the ninety-minute session, participants will have the opportunity to examine the artwork closely, share observations and opinions, learn about the pieces, and connect with others in a supportive atmosphere. Assistive listening devices and lightweight, collapsible stools will be available at each program.
Registration for this month’s conversation is $5 per person. Participants will receive a “Know Before You Go” email prior to the program, which will include details about getting to the High Museum, parking, and other essential information.
