Over the last fifty years, photographer Mimi Plumb has captured the evolution of the Western U.S. landscape and the lives of its inhabitants. This exhibition marks her first solo museum presentation, showcasing three of her major bodies of work with more than one hundred photographs taken in and around San Francisco and across the American West. The images provoke contemplation on how changes in geopolitics, the economy, and the environment have influenced American life from the 1970s to the present.
Capacity is limited, and preregistration is required. Individuals can register by logging into their account or by contacting Member Services at 404-733-4575 (Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.).
