A Sensory Guide and Social Story are available to assist with preparations for the visit to the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. Upon arrival, visitors are advised to proceed to the ticketing desk at the main entrance to have their digital tickets scanned.
The High Museum of Art can be accessed by car, MARTA, rideshare, or alternative transportation methods.
Primary parking is located in the Woodruff Arts Center garage on Arts Center Way, with parking fees of $30 during evening hours. Accessible parking spaces are available on Levels P5 and P4, adjacent to the double elevator bank. Additional parking is offered at the Promenade parking garage, situated at the intersection of Arts Center Way and 15th Street, costing $17. It is important to note that all parking facilities are cash-free.
Access to the museum is facilitated via the elevator on Arts Center Way, located next to the pedestrian crosswalk. For those traveling by MARTA, the crosswalk can be seen upon exiting the MARTA station on Arts Center Way. If using a rideshare service, it is recommended to request drop-off at the curbside area near the pedestrian crosswalk, from which visitors can take the elevator to Campus Level.
The museum’s café will be closed during the Sensory-Friendly Evening. Outside food and drink are permitted in designated areas of the museum. Numerous dining options are available at Colony Square.
