STEAM Lab
Fernbank’s STEAM Lab (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) serves as the museum’s new hub for learning. The educational program offerings connect scientific concepts with the arts and humanities to provide an engaging, hands-on learning environment designed to encourage visitors to think innovatively, take risks, and exercise their imaginations.
The STEAM Lab is currently open to the public on weekends, school holidays, and for select programs during the week. Beginning temporarily on Feb. 9, the STEAM Lab will only be accessible through Fantastic Forces (located at the back left of the space) while work is done to open the new Orkin Discovery Zone next door.
The STEAM Lab will be closed for updates from March 18-26. To learn more about the exciting updates happening at Fernbank, check out Fernbank’s Future!
