The workshop at the Atlanta Botanical Garden will focus on designing a stamp and mastering basic relief printing skills while exploring the shapes and designs of botanicals. The session will commence outdoors, where participants will sketch plants throughout the Garden for inspiration. Following this, participants will finalize their plant-based designs and carve them for stamping and relief printing. Each participant will then stamp their designs onto various paper options. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to print the designs, and time permitting, participants may experiment with a basic printmaking technique.
