At the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, the Musing Together program offers a unique monthly art conversation designed specifically for individuals with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, along with their care partners. Each month, the museum’s staff leads engaging dialogues centered around four to six artworks selected from the High’s extensive collection or current exhibitions.
This month’s focus will be on pieces from the American art collection.
During this ninety-minute session, participants will have the opportunity to closely observe the artworks and share their observations, thoughts, and insights, all within a nurturing and supportive atmosphere. The High Museum provides assistive listening devices and lightweight collapsible stools to ensure comfort for all attendees.
