Join the High Museum in Atlanta for an inspiring Drawing from Experience session, influenced by the remarkable pieces in the exhibition, Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys. In this session, attendees will blend silhouettes of human figures, vibrant colors, and stylized floral patterns to develop unique hybrid drawings that explore both illusionism and flatness. Utilizing ink and watercolor, participants will have the opportunity to express their creative ideas.
Drawing from Experience is a recurring series of drawing sessions designed to draw inspiration from the High’s beautiful campus and extensive collection. Each session invites participants to discover new perspectives on capturing the world around them while enhancing their individual artistic expression and drawing techniques.
All necessary materials will be provided for participants, although they are welcome to bring their own supplies. Ticket purchases also include access to explore the museum’s galleries.
