Attendees can enjoy a variety of live performances by some of Atlanta’s most beloved children’s musicians and storytellers in this engaging series. Shows take place Fridays, May through September at 10 and 10:45 a.m.
In this musical adventure with Travis Murphy, participants will explore different sounds, movements, and silly lyrics with interactive elements. Mr. Travis has taught music to hundreds of preschool-aged children every week for the past 12 years in and around Atlanta. He also tours professionally with his band.
Admission is free with a Garden Membership or general admission; no show reservations are required.
- This program is located on the Great Lawn of the Atlanta Botanical Garden under the shade of the elm trees.
- Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket or ground cover, as the grass can be damp in the morning.
- Participants should see the program greeter on the Great Lawn starting 10 minutes before each session.
The event may be canceled or moved indoors if rain, cold temperatures, or inclement weather make outdoor programming impractical. To check the status, individuals can email classes@atlantabg.org.
Shows for Seedlings is designed for children accompanied by an adult.
