Looking for an exciting family activity for Spring Break? The Atlanta Botanical Garden offers a chance to enjoy the wonders of springtime with engaging, seasonal family activities.
Schedule: April 7 – 11, 10 a.m. – noon
The event may be canceled or moved indoors if rain, cold temperatures, or inclement weather make outdoor programming impractical. To check the status, attendees can email classes@atlantabg.org.
Drop-in Activities
10:00 a.m. – noon, Monday – Friday
Families can enjoy spring-inspired activities in the Children’s Garden that bring them up close to nature. Attendees will have the opportunity to make beautiful art to take home, plant spring seeds, explore gardening sensory bins, and delight in the scents of playdough. The Garden is also filled with beautiful blooms to explore during their visit!
Storybook Time
10:00 a.m. & 10:45 a.m. Wednesday Only
Children can listen to stories about spring in the Children’s Garden Amphitheater.
Drop-In Kids Gardening Activity
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Wednesday Only
Kiddos can join for a kid-friendly gardening activity, such as seed planting, watering, or harvesting.
Garden Grooves
10:00 a.m. & 10:45 a.m. Thursday Only
Families can get ready to wiggle and warble! They are invited to join on the Great Lawn for songs and dances inspired by the beautiful outdoors.
