Families looking for an exciting activity during Spring Break are invited to visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden to enjoy the wonders of springtime through a variety of fun, seasonal family activities.
Schedule: April 7 – 11, 10 a.m. – noon
Should inclement weather, such as rain or cold temperatures, make outdoor programming impractical, activities may be canceled or moved indoors. To check the status, interested parties can email classes@atlantabg.org.
Drop-in Activities
10:00 a.m. – noon, Monday – Friday
Visitors can enjoy spring-inspired activities in the Children’s Garden that bring them up close to nature. They can make beautiful art to take home, plant spring seeds, explore gardening sensory bins, and sink their hands into delightfully scented playdough. The Garden is filled with beautiful blooms to explore during their visit!
Storybook Time
10:00 a.m. & 10:45 a.m. Wednesday Only
Attendees can listen to stories about spring in the Children’s Garden Amphitheater.
Drop-In Kids Gardening Activity
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Wednesday Only
Children can join a kid-friendly gardening activity, such as seed planting, watering, or harvesting.
Garden Grooves
10:00 a.m. & 10:45 a.m. Thursday Only
Participants are invited to get ready to wiggle and warble! They can join on the Great Lawn for songs and dances inspired by the beautiful outdoors.
