Attendees can supplement their life science, botanical, and environmental studies curriculum with a visit to the Atlanta Botanical Garden. They will walk through the Fuqua Conservatory to discover a lush tropical rainforest, observe unique orchids, and marvel at bizarre succulents from South Africa and Madagascar. Participants can tip-toe through the treetops on the Kendeda Canopy Walk and visit the Edible Garden to learn more about the plants we eat. Grade-specific, self-guided materials will be available in the Visitor Center, and volunteer-led information stations will be around the Garden introducing students to interesting phenomena.
Parking and sales tax are not included. No outside food or drink is permitted.
Please note: This event is free for Garden members, and members do not need tickets.
