Chill & Thrill: A Sensory-Friendly Night at the High Museum of Art!

Chill & Thrill: A Sensory-Friendly Night at the High Museum of Art!

Join the High Museum of Art in Atlanta for a special event designed to enhance accessibility for all visitors. A detailed Sensory Guide and a comprehensive Social Story are available to help prepare guests for their visit. Upon arrival, attendees should proceed to the ticketing desk at the main museum entrance to have their digital tickets scanned.

The High Museum is accessible via car, MARTA, rideshare, or other forms of transportation. The primary parking option is located in the Woodruff Arts Center garage on Arts Center Way, where parking costs $30 during evening hours. Accessible parking spaces can be found on Levels P5 and P4, near the double elevator bank. Additional parking is also available at the Promenade parking garage at the intersection of Arts Center Way and 15th Street, with a fee of $17. Please be aware that all parking decks at the museum are cashless.

Guests can use the elevator located on Arts Center Way next to the pedestrian crosswalk to access the museum. If arriving via MARTA, the crosswalk is easily visible upon exiting the MARTA station. For those using rideshare services, it is recommended to ask drivers to drop off at the designated curbside drop-off/pick-up area near the pedestrian crosswalk, from which visitors can then take the elevator to the Campus Level.

Please note that the museum’s café will be closed during the Sensory-Friendly Evening, but outside food and drink are permitted in designated areas of the museum. There are also numerous dining options available nearby at Colony Square.

For any further inquiries about the event, individuals can reach out via email at culturecollective@high.org or by calling 404-733-5034.
