Attendees will have the opportunity to explore Kim Chong Hak, Painter of Seoraksan at the High, which marks the first American museum to showcase the works of this renowned South Korean artist known as “the painter of Seoraksan.” The exhibition presents more than seventy works, including new acquisitions from the High’s collection, illuminating a significant aspect of late twentieth-century Korean art that remains largely unknown outside South Korea.
