This exhibition at the High Museum of Art will mark the US debut of Ikeda’s data-verse, a trilogy of monumental, immersive light and sound installations that encapsulate over two decades of the artist’s research, reflecting the advanced digitalization of a globally integrated society. The show will also introduce new works alongside existing pieces, including data.gram, which features a series of eighteen monitors that deconstruct, analyze, and recombine information within data-verse.
