This month’s theme: Photography’s New Vision: Experiments in Seeing
The exhibition Photography’s New Vision: Experiments in Seeing serves as a foundation for participants to learn techniques for combining imagery to transform familiar objects into unrecognizable forms. Attendees will explore overlaying elements by merging multiple silhouettes, likened to the experimental “New Vision” photographs of László Moholy-Nagy, to generate innovative works.
Drawing from Experience is a continuous series of drawing sessions inspired by the High Museum of Art’s campus and collection. Each session emphasizes a distinct method of seeing and capturing the surrounding world, encouraging participants to explore personal expression and enhance their drawing skills.
All materials will be provided during these sessions; however, participants are welcome to bring their own supplies. Admission also includes access to the museum galleries.
