The Atlanta Botanical Garden presents a series of live performances featuring some of Atlanta’s beloved children’s musicians and storytellers. Shows are scheduled for Fridays from May through September at 10 and 10:45 a.m.
Attendees can explore Chinese dance with Hwee-Eng Lee and Kerry Lee, directors of the Atlanta Chinese Dance Company (ACDC). Founded in 1991, ACDC educates and entertains the metro Atlanta area about Chinese history and culture through the art of dance. The company notably showcased Atlanta during the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1996 Olympic Games.
Admission is free with Garden Membership or general admission; reservations for shows are not required.
- This program is held on the Great Lawn beneath the shade of the elm trees.
- Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket or ground cover, as the grass may be damp in the morning.
- A program greeter will be available on the Great Lawn starting 10 minutes before each session.
