The High Museum in Atlanta offers an opportunity for adults to expand their art-making skills through guided, step-by-step instruction provided by expert teaching artists. Over the course of several weeks, participants will learn alongside fellow creative adults, delving deeply into the artistic process, exploring new techniques, and building their artistic practice.
This class is classified as an intermediate-level Studio Class, with a curriculum designed for adults who have some prior experience. While all motivated learners are welcome, those with a foundational understanding of the mediums will be better equipped to keep pace with the class and fully engage in the exercises and activities.
The registration fee covers all materials, weekly access to the museum’s galleries featuring world-class art, hours of expert instruction, and access to a Friday afternoon Open Studio during the duration of the class.
