Musing Together at the High Museum in Atlanta
Musing Together is a monthly art conversation program at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, specifically designed for individuals with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, along with their care partners. Each month, the High Museum staff facilitates engaging discussions centered around four to six artworks from the museum’s collection or special exhibitions.
This month, participants will explore pieces from the High’s Decorative Arts and Design Collection.
During the 90-minute session, attendees will have the opportunity to carefully observe and share their insights and opinions about the artwork, while connecting with one another in a supportive atmosphere. The program provides assistive listening devices and lightweight, collapsible stools for added comfort.
To register for this month’s event, interested individuals can click the ticket button. Registration is just $5 per person. Attendees will receive a “Know Before You Go” email with essential information about reaching the High, parking, and other details.
For those wishing to receive registration emails directly, signing up for the Musing Together email list is available through the sign-up form.
