May Meditations: A Creative Journey at the High Museum of Art

Join the High Museum of Art in Atlanta for "Musing Together," a monthly art conversation program tailored for individuals with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, along with their care partners. This engaging initiative is designed to foster connection and discussion through art, with museum staff guiding conversations about four to six artworks from the High’s collection or special exhibitions.

This month, participants will explore pieces featured in the exhibition Kim Chong Hak, Painter of Seoraksan. Over the course of ninety minutes, attendees are encouraged to examine the artworks closely, share their insights, and connect in a welcoming atmosphere. The program will provide assistive listening devices and lightweight collapsible stools to enhance accessibility.

To participate in this month’s conversation, registration is required, with a fee of $5 per person. Upon registration, attendees will receive a "Know Before You Go" email that includes vital information on reaching the High Museum, parking details, and other essential tips.

Those who wish to receive updates directly may sign up for the "Musing Together" email list through the sign-up form.

For further inquiries, interested individuals can reach out via email at culturecollective@high.org or call 404-733-5034.
