This event provides members with early access to new acquisitions. Scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2026, attendees will have the opportunity to view the latest additions to the High Museum’s collection.
Since acquiring its first photograph in 1973 and establishing the photography department in 1993, the museum has consistently worked to broaden its collection. This ongoing effort highlights the history of photography while reflecting the culture and context in which these works were created. The upcoming exhibition will feature several works on display for the first time, including highlights from the museum’s extensive photography collection. New Acquisitions: Photography will emphasize the significance of collection-building as an artistic endeavor.
Preregistration is required. Visitors are encouraged to enter the exhibition at their designated time to manage capacity within the galleries efficiently.
