Morning Hike

Fernbank Museum – Fernbank Forest
This event features a guided hike through Fernbank Forest, celebrating the ecosystem of the old-growth forest. Each session covers different topics, which may include birding, tree identification, wildflowers, and more.
Cost: $10 for members / $20 for nonmembers
Important information for attendees:
- Hikes will proceed rain or shine, except in cases of hazardous weather. Participants are advised to check the weather and dress accordingly.
- The hike lasts for two hours, weather permitting.
- The forest terrain may be uneven and steep at times; trails are not ADA accessible.
- This hike is not suitable for strollers.
- In the event of inclement weather or insufficient registrations, Fernbank Museum reserves the right to cancel the hike. Registered participants will be notified via email the day prior to the scheduled hike, and refunds will be issued.
