Morning Hike

Fernbank Museum, Fernbank Forest
A guided hike through Fernbank Forest will take place as part of the Morning Hike event. This program celebrates the ecosystem of the old-growth forest. Topics covered may include birding, tree identification, wildflowers, and more.
Cost: $10 for members / $20 for nonmembers
Important information for participants:
- Hikes will occur rain or shine, except in the event of hazardous weather conditions. Participants are advised to check the weather and dress accordingly.
- The duration of the hike is two hours, subject to weather permitting.
- Terrain may be uneven and steep at times; trails are not ADA accessible.
- This hike is not suitable for strollers.
- In the case of inclement weather or insufficient registrations, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Registered participants will be notified by email the day prior to the scheduled hike regarding any cancellations and will receive a refund.
