As Jacob settles into his new job and home, he forms new relationships and becomes part of a new family. When August, the charismatic ringmaster, introduces Rosie the elephant as the new star attraction, Jacob and August’s wife Marlena team up to train her. As Jacob and Marlena’s mutual compassion develops into a romantic relationship, August’s cruel nature threatens to derail their lives.
