Morning Hike

Fernbank Museum, Fernbank Forest
The Morning Hike offers a guided exploration of Fernbank Forest, celebrating the ecosystem of the old-growth forest. Each session covers varying topics, which may include birding, tree identification, wildflowers, and more.
Cost: $10 for members; $20 for nonmembers.
Important information for participants:
- Hikes will take place rain or shine, except in the event of hazardous weather. Participants are advised to check the weather and dress accordingly.
- The hike lasts for two hours, depending on weather conditions.
- The forest terrain is uneven and steep at times. Trails are not ADA accessible.
- This hike is not suitable for strollers.
- In the case of inclement weather or insufficient registrations, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Registered participants will be notified via email the day prior to the scheduled hike regarding any cancellations and issued a refund.
