The High Museum of Art in Atlanta invites participants to join "Musing Together," a monthly art conversation program specifically designed for individuals with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, along with their care partners. Each month, staff from the High Museum facilitate engaging discussions centered around four to six artworks from the museum’s collection or special exhibitions.
This month’s focus is on the exhibition Georgia O’Keeffe: “My New Yorks.”
During a ninety-minute session, attendees are encouraged to examine the selected artworks closely, share their thoughts and observations, learn about the pieces, and foster connections with one another in a welcoming environment. The program provides assistive listening devices and lightweight collapsible stools to enhance comfort for all participants.
To register for this month’s conversation, interested parties can click the ticket button. Registration is $5 per person, and participants will receive a “Know Before You Go” email prior to the event, detailing directions to the High, parking options, and other essential information.
For those who wish to receive registration updates directly in their inbox, signing up for the Musing Together email list is available through the sign-up form.
For further inquiries, participants can reach out via email at culturecollective@high.org or call 404-733-5034.
Know Before You Go:
