Morning Hike

Fernbank Museum
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided hike through Fernbank Forest, located at the Fernbank Museum. The Morning Hike is designed to celebrate the ecosystem of the old-growth forest. Each hike features varying topics, which may include birding, tree identification, wildflowers, and more.
Cost: $10 for members / $20 for nonmembers
General Admission not included.
Things to know before visiting:
- Hikes take place rain or shine, except in the event of hazardous weather. It is recommended to check the weather and dress accordingly.
- The hike lasts for two hours, weather permitting.
- The forest terrain can be uneven and steep at times. Trails are not ADA accessible.
- This hike is not suitable for strollers.
- In case of inclement weather or insufficient registrations, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. The museum will call and email registered participants by noon the day before the scheduled hike to notify them of the cancellation and issue a refund.
