Morning Hike

Participants are invited to enjoy a guided hike through Fernbank Forest at the Fernbank Museum. This Morning Hike will celebrate the unique ecosystem of the old-growth forest. Each session explores different topics, which may include birding, tree identification, wildflowers, and more.
Cost: $10 for members / $20 for non-members
Things to know before visiting:
- Hikes will take place rain or shine, except in cases of hazardous weather. Participants should check the weather and dress appropriately.
- The hike lasts for two hours, weather permitting.
- The forest terrain can be uneven and steep at times. Trails are not ADA accessible.
- This hike is not suitable for strollers.
- In the event of inclement weather or if the minimum number of registrations is not met, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Registered participants will be contacted via phone and email by noon the day prior to the scheduled hike to inform them of any cancellations and to issue refunds.
