Fernbank Forest
Participants can enjoy a guided hike through Fernbank Forest. This Morning Hike will celebrate the ecosystem of the old-growth forest, with varying topics each time, potentially including birding, tree identification, wildflowers, and more.
Cost: $10 for members / $20 for nonmembers
Things to know before visiting:
- Hikes take place rain or shine, except in the event of hazardous weather. Participants should check the weather and dress accordingly.
- The hike lasts two hours, weather permitting.
- The forest terrain is uneven and steep at times. Trails are not ADA accessible.
- This hike is not suitable for strollers.
- In case of inclement weather or insufficient registrations, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Registered participants will receive an email the day prior to the scheduled hike to alert them to any cancellation and issue a refund.
