Fernbank Forest
Participants can enjoy a guided hike through Fernbank Forest. This Morning Hike will celebrate the ecosystem of the old-growth forest, with topics varying each time to include birding, tree identification, wildflowers, and more.
Cost: $10 for members/$20 for nonmembers
Important information for visitors:
- Hikes occur rain or shine, except in cases of hazardous weather. Guests are advised to check the weather and dress appropriately.
- The hike lasts two hours, depending on weather conditions.
- The forest terrain can be uneven and steep at times. Trails are not ADA accessible.
- This hike is not suitable for strollers.
- In the event of inclement weather or insufficient registrations, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Registered participants will receive an email the day before the hike notifying them of any cancellations and issuing a refund.
