Ultimate Dinosaurs
On view Feb. 8 – May 4, 2025*
Dinosaur diversity from around the world.
Guests can explore the bizarre and fascinating dinosaur species that evolved in isolation in South America, Africa, and Madagascar. Unfamiliar to most North Americans, these dinosaur displays seek to answer the question: why are the unique and bizarre southern dinosaurs so different from their North American counterparts? Through an impressive blend of skeletal displays and augmented reality, visitors will learn about the break-up of the supercontinent Pangaea and how it altered the ancient world, setting the stage for the evolution of vastly different dinosaur species.
Attendees will see these prehistoric creatures come to life in the 21st century. From the tiny Eoraptor to the massive Giganotosaurus, they can encounter 13 life-sized casts, genuine dinosaur fossils, and hands-on dinosaur specimens that reveal some of the most important evolutionary discoveries of dinosaurs from the Southern Hemisphere over the past 20+ years.
