Celebrating 50 Years of Love at the Garden
The Atlanta Botanical Garden’s traditional Valentine’s Day event returns with a special anniversary twist honoring five decades of love stories that have evolved since 1976. Guests can anticipate an evening filled with savory and sweet small plates*, craft cocktails, live entertainment, and more.
All attendees are considered VIPs at this year’s Valentines in the Garden. To maintain an intimate atmosphere, capacity is limited—tickets for this sought-after event often sell out quickly. Early planning is advised to ensure a memorable evening.

Parking: $15 per vehicle (SAGE cards not accepted).
*Admission includes savory and sweet light bites from Atlanta’s premier caterers, but does not cover dinner portions. Additional food may be available for purchase while supplies last. Cash bars are accessible throughout the Garden, and both the Garden and its parking facility operate on a card-only basis.

Decades of Love
Guests are encouraged to dress in elegant attire or represent a favorite decade reflective of personal love stories. The enchanting Valentines Ballroom (Day Hall) will feature floral arrangements and candlelit décor. Attendees can select a custom corsage or boutonniere at the floral bar while enjoying live music across the decades. Emcee Joseph Wenzler will provide a mix of heartfelt moments, vow renewals, personalized dedications, the Garden’s 50th anniversary toasts, and more. The prom-style superlatives will be announced at 9 p.m., offering a chance to win tickets to a future Garden event.
Musical performances will be provided by Amp’d Entertainment, Infinity Show Band, King Street Band, and the Doug Ehlen Duo.
Submissions of a photo and dedication from personal love stories will be accepted for inclusion in the “50 Years of Love” projection in Day Hall. Attendees can also add their names to a living floral storybook photo display.
Signature Valentine Moments
Vow renewals
Ceremonies will take place at 7:30 and 9 p.m. in Day Hall, followed by a “first dance.”
V-Day Photos
Participants can share their love stories in the “50 Years of Love” projection and the floral storybook photo display. Additional pictures can be taken in the ShutterXpress photo booth.
Garden Originals
Attendees can tour the exclusive nighttime showing of Orchid Daze. The Garden’s cherished holiday lights will also be illuminated during the event, including Ice Goddess, lights over the Canopy Walk in Storza Woods, Crape Myrtle Allée, and more.
Exceptional Food & Beverage
Guests will enjoy a curated selection of sweet and savory small plates from Bold Catering and Design, Proof of the Pudding, Party Execs, Affairs to Remember, and Low Country Catering.
Highlights will include chickpea a la king, braised short rib au poivre, late-night Dubai chocolate waffles, and hashbrowns scattered, covered, and smothered.
The evening will conclude with an assortment of exquisite desserts, including fruity crisp pops and flourless chocolate torte with raspberry coulis.
Specialty coffee drinks will be offered by Art, Passion and Coffee, alongside sweet and savory crepes from Vanilla Crepes available for purchase.
A Night of Storytelling & Spectacle
The enchanting characters from The Off Centered Project will return as the Garden Laureate and Valentine’s Nymphs, mingling throughout the evening to share poetic reflections and express the many forms of love—past, present, and future.
Know Before You Go
Chairs, pets, tobacco/vape products, and outside food/drinks are prohibited in the Garden. Food and beverages are available while supplies last. Tickets are non-refundable, and no rain checks will be offered. Only guests aged 21 and older may purchase alcohol, and identification is required. Bars will close at 9:30 p.m.
