This guided hike through Fernbank Forest offers participants the opportunity to explore the ecosystem of the old-growth forest. Each session features varying topics, which may include birding, tree identification, wildflowers, and more.

Important information for participants:

• Hikes will occur rain or shine, except in the case of hazardous weather conditions. Participants are advised to check the weather and dress accordingly.
• The duration of the hike is two hours, weather permitting.
• The terrain within the forest is uneven and steep at times. Trails are not ADA accessible.
• This hike is not suitable for strollers.
• In the case of inclement weather or insufficient registrations, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Registered participants will be notified via email the day prior to the scheduled hike regarding any cancellations and will receive a refund.
