At Actor’s Express, the upcoming production features a book and lyrics by Tom MacRae, with music by Dan Gillespie Sells, and is based on an idea by Johnathan Butterell. The show will be directed by Freddie Ashley and is scheduled to run from February 15 to March 3, 2024.
The performance has a runtime of 2.5 hours, including a 15-minute intermission, and promises to be a joyous explosion of glitter, laughter, and love. Freddie Ashley notes, “As drag bans and discriminatory ‘don’t say gay’ laws pop up around the south, I believe it’s the perfect time to share this heartwarming story with bright pop music and exuberant comedy.”

The campus is easily accessible from the Clairmont and Shallowford exits of I-85, and parking on-site is free.
