Each MLK Day, young artists from the Palefsky Collision Project reconvene to reimagine their summer performance through the lens of Dr. King’s legacy. This year’s MLK Day performance re-explored Dreams Born of Chaos, an original work inspired by Amanda Gorman’s The Hill We Climb, under the direction of Sam Provenzano in collaboration with Maya Lawrence, Rodney L. Williams, and David Koté.
This performance was filmed on January 20, 2025, in the Azadi Galleria at the Woodruff Arts Center.
Special thanks to Victoria & Howard Palefsky for their generous support.
