Erin Dougherty serves as the Director of Public Engagement at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. In this role, she has been responsible for developing and implementing programs that cater to a diverse range of audiences, engaging stakeholders, community leaders, artists, donors, and board members. Dougherty advocates for equitable access to museums for all community members and emphasizes the importance of community engagement through innovative approaches. Her programming includes artist conversations, performances, and demonstrations featuring guests from around the world. Dougherty holds a Master of Arts in Art Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. She has been recognized as one of The Power 10 of blooloop’s 50 Museum Influencers, has served on the boards of T. Lang Dance and AIR Serenbe, and participated in the 2017 Getty Leadership Institute NextGen class.
