4-Week Course: Collage Making
April 30th – May 21st
Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Tuition: $150 (materials not included)
This course provides an exploration of collage-making techniques, focusing on materials, media, and styles of collage and assemblage. Participants will create multiple collage pieces and receive guidance on ongoing projects. Limited materials from magazines and ephemera will be available; participants are encouraged to bring their own materials for use and sharing.
The class will cover:
- Tools, materials, and resources for collage
- Composition, style, and form
- Using digital resources and tools
- Creating multi-layered 3D effects
- Mounting, framing, and presentation techniques
Instructor Tom Zarrilli, an Atlanta-based artist, has exhibited throughout the USA and previously served as gallery director of the 378 Gallery in Atlanta. His work encompasses painting, photography, ceramics, conceptual art, and collage.
