On Sunday, September 18, 2022, My Parent’s Basement will host the Georgia Pinball Tournament. The event will take place from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the venue located at 22 N Avondale Rd, Avondale Estates, GA 30002, United States.
Participants will need to pay a $5 entry fee, and the tournament is IFPA endorsed for WPPR points. Registration runs from 11:30 to 11:55 AM, with games starting at 12:00 PM. This tournament will utilize a Progressive Strikes format, where players compete in groups of 3 or 4, ensuring that those with similar records face each other. Each participant will play at least 4 rounds, with the possibility of additional rounds.
Scoring for each group will be as follows:
– 1st place: 0 strikes
– 2nd place: 1 strike
– 3rd place: 2 strikes
– 4th place: 3 strikes
Once a player accumulates 10 strikes, they will be eliminated from the tournament. For three-player groups, the strikes will be adjusted to 0, 1, and 2. Game settings will typically cost $1 per play or 3 plays for $2. The Tournament Director may choose to accelerate strikes or implement a sudden death final game if fewer than 4 players remain, though they usually allow the full event to play out.
