The sixth installment of the Placita Latina exhibition will showcase Latinx and Hispanic artists.
The exhibition, titled Placita Latina v.6: Puentes (Bridges), highlights how Latin artists create understanding, preserve cultural heritage, and foster dialogue through various art forms, including painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media. It emphasizes how art acts as a bridge connecting past and future, tradition and innovation, and individual stories with collective identity.
In a time of division, “Puentes” encourages reflection on connection, belonging, resilience, and cultural exchange, underscoring the unifying power of creativity.
A closing reception will be held on Friday, October 23rd, from 6-9 PM.
