The sixth installment of the Placita Latina exhibition is set to feature the works of Latinx and Hispanic artists. Titled “Puentes” (Bridges), this exhibition celebrates the ways in which Latin artists foster understanding, preserve cultural heritage, and open new pathways for dialogue. Through various creative expressions, including painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, art serves as a bridge connecting past and future, tradition and innovation, and individual stories with collective identity.
In a time of division, “Puentes” emphasizes themes of connection, belonging, resilience, and cultural exchange, showcasing art’s role in uniting communities. A closing reception will be held on Friday, October 23rd, from 6-9 pm.
