The sixth installment of the Placita Latina exhibition showcases Latinx and Hispanic artists. Titled “Placita Latina v.6: Puentes (Bridges),” this exhibition highlights the ways in which Latin artists foster understanding, preserve cultural heritage, and cultivate new pathways for dialogue. It features a diverse range of artistic expressions, including painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, illustrating how art serves as a bridge between various aspects of identity and experience.
In a time of community division, “Puentes” prompts reflection on connection, resilience, and cultural exchange, emphasizing creativity’s role in uniting individuals. A closing reception will be held on Friday, October 23rd, from 6 to 9 PM.
