This quilting event, suitable for individuals new to quilting as well as those seeking to enhance their sewing skills, provides essential techniques for creating beautiful quilts. Over five weekly sessions, participants will produce a crib-sized quilt while practicing fabric cutting, pressing techniques, accurate seam allowances, basting, machine quilting, and binding. Additionally, there will be discussions on design strategies for pattern and color selection.
With step-by-step instruction and ample hands-on practice, attendees will complete the class with a finished quilt, practical skills, and increased confidence for future quilting projects. Participants are required to bring a sewing machine in good working order.
